Aneesa Privacy Policy

1) What data we collect

• Account: email/Apple ID, name/username, language, country/time zone.
• User content: messages with Aneesa, an event timeline, uploads via “Attach” (photos/videos/files), notes, insights. You decide what to store and delete.
• Technical logs: IP address, device type, OS/app version, installation identifier, diagnostic logs and crash reports.
• Payments: purchase/subscription records (via the App Store/Google Play). We do not store your card details.
• Photo library/Files: access is only granted by your action (the “Attach” button). We do not use the camera.

Sensitive categories (health, intimate life, etc.) are processed only if you include them in your content. We do not use them for advertising.

2) Why we use data

• Functionality: chat, timeline, analysis of conversations/photos, device synchronization.
• Personalization: recommendations for modes/tips, language, UI.
• Analytics and quality: aggregated statistics, crash reporting, improving algorithms.
• Legal bases: performance of a contract (Terms), our legitimate interests (without overriding your rights), and consent where required.

Aneesa is not a medical or psychotherapy application.

3) Sharing with third parties

• Data processors: cloud hosting, diagnostic analytics (crashes/performance), and store payment platforms. They are bound by contracts and may use data only under our instructions.
• LLM/AI providers: text/files may be processed temporarily by an AI service to generate responses. We aim to disable training on your data and keep storage to the minimum necessary.
• Law and safety: we may disclose data in response to lawful requests, only to the extent required by law.
• Marketing: we do not sell your personal data and do not use targeting based on sensitive categories.

4) Data retention

We keep data while you have an account, or for as long as needed to provide the service and comply with the law. You can delete content in the app at any time. Deleting your account triggers irreversible deletion of associated data after a technical delay/backups (typically up to 30 days).

5) Your rights

• Access to your data and a copy of it.
• Correction and deletion.
• Restriction of processing or objection (including for analytics).
• Portability (export) upon request.
• Withdrawal of consent where consent is used.
• Complaint to a regulator (if GDPR/UK GDPR/other laws apply).

6) Security

We apply technical and organizational measures such as encryption in transit, access controls, segregated secret storage, and logging. No system can guarantee absolute security; please contact us if you suspect suspicious activity.

7) Children

Aneesa is intended for users aged 16+ (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

8) International transfers

Data may be processed on servers outside your country. We use standard contractual clauses and other legal mechanisms to protect data in cross-border transfers.

10) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated in the app. By continuing to use Aneesa after an update, you agree to the updated version.
